Finally got some new digs. The house itself is kinda ‘meh’, and the rental agent is consistently rated as one of the lowest in town for customer satisfaction. However, the location is great, the views are gorgeous, and the price is right. Still owe a bunch of pictures of the new place, but thought I’d at least toss up a teaser. This was shot off the back porch looking southwest, from right at the top of the porch steps. Carr Canyon Road runs most of the way up the mountains southwest of the house, and has a camping area at the top, so I’m definitely going to have to head up there and camp out one of these weekends. This will have to suffice for now, since I’ve got a signed leave form in hand, and am approved for my 4-day jaunt to Durango CO next weekend for the annual ‘Tater Ranch Rally’ with the west coast BeginnerBikers.org folks… more to follow.
