DM Airshow

So I finally got around to installing the Google Picasa client on my computer, which as it turns out, is a great way for me to manage album uploads.  Doing some searching around, I managed to find a couple of plugins for WordPress, and am now trying one to see if I can successfully put Picasa uploaded images straight into blog posts.  As I mentioned before in my RAW vs Jpeg post, I can get more data out of the camera by shooting RAW, but of course that means huge image sizes, etc, etc.  I’m still kind of torn between raw and Jpeg when I’m just out and about shooting, but given that I may at any time I’m shooting get ‘the shot’ and would therefore want access to the RAW data from that photo, I’ve just left the camera set for RAW only.  Given the 9-shot buffer and the 3.3 FPS rate the T1i shoots at, I can still shoot nearly 3 seconds continuously, and don’t generally shoot longer than that anyway.

All that nonsense aside, I went to the Davis Monthan AFB Airshow a couple of weeks ago, and thought I would try and post some photos from that now:

Here’s the line-end aircraft from the set of Thunderbirds parked on the taxiway just in front of show center.

There were also plenty of static displays sitting on the ramp.
