I have, for now, given up on posting pages of photos here on the blog through wordpress.\u00a0 Once I figure out a more elegant way to host the photo pages, I’ll add them.\u00a0 As it stands, I’m hosting the latest two Auto-X sessions over on Picasa.\u00a0 I’ll load a couple of my favorites here but will then just put links at the bottom of this post so all the other autox guys can download them more easily.\u00a0 A couple of really cool cars showed up for the two events.\u00a0 This month, Ralph Nader’s favorite car (the Corvair) made a beautiful appearance:

Last month, a Volkswagen R32 showed up.\u00a0 He had some Kumho tires with him, and managed to get them, the jack, the remnants of his back seat, and other assorted tools all in the car…
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The announcing has gotten better each time I’ve gone, with split times and changes between runs (“He dropped 1.1 seconds off his last run…”) all being announced over the loudspeaker.\u00a0 Good stuff:

I managed to convince one of the guys from work to bring out his 911… it’s purdy:

Lastly, it is usually the case that hands and arms must remain inside the ride until it comes to a complete stop.\u00a0 Not entirely enforceable in convertibles:
