We’ll leave it to facebook to replay the tale of New Year’s Eve, suffice it to say that illegal fireworks in the neighborhood and our largest dog do not get along.\u00a0 But we did survive, and (much later than would be normal), find ourselves in a new year.\u00a0 I’m not much of one for ‘resolutions’, and will instead kick off the year by doing another of those obscure internet biker rituals: The publishing of the mileage.\u00a0 Since I now have 2 street bikes, am not likely to sell either, and will most likely split my time between them over the course of the year, I’ll document the mileage on both odometers here, and see where things fall out in 12 months time.\u00a0 First up, the land missile, with 20,497 on the clocks:

Second, the Ninja 250.\u00a0 I’ll probably end up riding this bike around at least a bit today, just to start the year off right.\u00a0 I did just fix up a baffle for the aftermarket exhaust, so I will probably document that as well at some point in the near future.\u00a0 In any case, the odometer on the little Ninja currently reads 13,612:
