Fast forward to Tuesday, when I mentioned on the bike forum that I was sorry about all the northeasterners being snowed in, but that I was riding in in high 40&#8217;s temps with mid 60&#8217;s in the forecast.  Well today I was headed up to Huachuca when what should I run across but this:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"Https:\/\/www.galaxieman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/Huachuca-snow-wide.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-178\" title=\"Huachuca-snow-wide\" src=\"Https:\/\/www.galaxieman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/Huachuca-snow-wide-300x68.jpg\" alt=\"Huachuca-snow-wide\" width=\"300\" height=\"68\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe native (stitched) image that shot is cropped from is some 150-megapixels.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a total of 42 separate 8-megapixel images stitched together with Windows Live Photogallery.\u00a0 It took a while for the computer to slog through it, but amazingly it just chugged right along until it was ready to save the gargantuan (29327 x 5367 pixel) image.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s another shot, zoomed in on the northern end of the range:<br \/>\n<a href=\"Https:\/\/www.galaxieman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/Huachuca-snow-center.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-177\" title=\"Huachuca-snow-center\" src=\"Https:\/\/www.galaxieman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/Huachuca-snow-center-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"Huachuca-snow-center\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At lunch, I drove up to reservoir hill and shot some pictures of the Whetstones to the north:<br \/>\n<a href=\"Https:\/\/www.galaxieman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/Karchner.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-179\" title=\"Karchner\" src=\"Https:\/\/www.galaxieman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/Karchner-300x83.jpg\" alt=\"Karchner\" width=\"300\" height=\"83\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yep.\u00a0 Hush up about weather, or it might happen to ya!<\/p>\n<p>Note: the splash picture of the Buell is my friend Mark&#8217;s bike out in front of his house in Sierra Vista.\u00a0 Sorry about that Mark!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So&#8230; While in Iraq I posted about shutting up about the weather after I mentioned that it hadn&#8217;t really rained&#8230; and then we got flooding all over the FOB.
